After 16 years way back when I was in Day Care Center, This was our Educational field-trip and I absolutely can’t remember what happened. But I still remember one thing, that was so called “alkansya” pleasing my parents to buy me one. And now that I do have my own work where I can go everywhere I want, I decided to go here and since the location of this resort is very accessible, It will be easy for me.

Land of Promise

How to get there:

When you are from downtown area, ride a jeep with a route going to Ma-a or Magtuod and drop to a church named St. Francis of Assissi Parish. When you get there, look for a habal-habal or tricycle driver going to Gap Farming Resort. The entrance fee is now worth 80 pesos per person.

Explore the Resort

When you arrived at the resort, the first thing you can see is a big statue of Philippine carabao.

And the resort’s signature line ” LAND OF PROMISE” that I really admire and love with. Because I came here wet because of the rain, I didn’t really enjoy the other places on which I supposedly ride a horse with a fee (that is so sad for me). Below the entrance area, you can see the different statue of Philippine animals. We’ll absolutely good for every kid.

They have also a swimming pool for adults and kids. Because it is raining and the weather is not cooperating, I didn’t try it (It’s ok, maybe next time).

I noticed that the concrete benches are old and need to be repainted. They have also a statue of Philippine heroes. Also, they have a statue representing different tribes of Mindanao.

They also have a parade of mystical folklore creatures. Everyone will notice the statue of Philippine ghosts and monster when you come closer to where the resort’s signature line located (I don’t like to see any of them).

They also have this prohibited Japanese cave. They don’t allow the visitors to enter here, maybe it’s dangerous.

There’s a Garden and a tree house

Foods

They have a menu where you can choose the food you want, but since I am tired of exploring the area. I ordered a fresh fruit durian shake and pancit canton. They only have 2-3 restaurant personnel, so you will be expecting for a long time of waiting before your order be delivered.

My Review to the Resort

Honestly, I love the resort. They have a very wide space and concrete benches found everywhere, but the resort is not developed and well maintained. They only have different statue, pool and cave, but they don’t have recreational activities like other resorts have. But all in all, The resort is okay and hopefully in my next visit there’s an improvement like the entrance fee, the price is already doubled.

I will recommend this place to all photographers or in line with photography. Here’s a video (see this link: https://www.instagram.com/p/BbyQQamD1JE/) I’ve created where you can watch all my captured photos in this place. Enjoy and please don’t forget to share this with your friends Thank you!
